These two dark looking poles are actually extra special treasures that haven't been permanently installed yet. They await the full bar build out- then they'll be happily situated.

This bamboo wraps around the bookcase that makes up my backbar, you'd never guess what's on the other side.

This shelf is everday mugs I serve drinks in. Up top, you can catch a glimpse of my Kahiki mugs.

The Kahiki mug collection, some are modern/post restaurant era, and the salt and pepper set is not genuinely Kahiki at all, just in the style thereof.

The mugs on the top shelf are either field collected, or Maryland local. At either side of the bar you can see Tiki plaques that Tiki King originally designed.

The current sad state of affiars- a white ceiling, cloth tacked up over white bookshelves as a temporary measure, thatch drooping down over the mugs, and all too white background for the mugs in their upper shelves.

The next few pix are of the mugs in the upper shelves above the bookcases, some are vintage, others are new. Some mass produced, some limited editions. Eventually, all will get sorted and repositioned. For now, though, mug chaos.
