You'll be glad you did!", I can now only say, go to Augusta, GA, and raise a glass to the remains of the once mighty Hale Tiki! Hale Tiki was one of the finest examples of a 'modern' Tiki establishment, the build out was done by TikiCentral Ohana, and Brad the Beachcomber once served allowed us to partake of the "concubines" here- the 'concubine' being the house drink, that is! Alas, The Hale Tiki closed its doors Feb 24th 2006. From the original description- "The Hale Tiki is beyond words. We visited after it had been open roughly 9 months to find Tiki perfection in GA, believe it or not! Our fine hosts, the music, the mixology, the space, and all the hard work that's gone into it- it was all we could do to stare in blissful wonderment! A small cadre of Tiki Centralites spent an insane few days building this modern Temple- and in every way imaginable- they got it right! The Hale Tiki is a perfect 10; a standard against which other modern Tiki Temples can be judged."
