The Polynesian Resort
Approaching the Polynesian, the Polynesian Isle is next door, seems to be a seperate building for overflow in the summer months.

Inside the main lobby, the Tiki fireplace with another Tiki near the window. Through the window you can make out one of the many indoor pools. There are more small Tikis out there, but the camera would fog.

The Tahiti Trader gift shop in the main lobby. Note the matting on the walls and the 'exotic' carpet. The lobby had massive open beams with hanging plants but we have no picture.

This is a typical entry to the buildings. Unfortunately, the rooms themselves are not polynesian in any measurable way. The room's furniture is bulky wood and has a woven quality to it, but disappointingly doesn't pass for Tiki.

Just above the hut, on the side of the slide platform look for a Tiki face- that doesn't go with the odd Mayan fence sentries at all!

A close up on that confusion- enough to give almost any archeologist nightmares.
